Privacy policy
Minutly handles recordings of conversations, so we keep this page plain and specific. It applies to the Minutly website, web app and Android app, and follows the Turkish KVKK and the EU GDPR.

Who is responsible
Minutly is operated by its owner (“we”), who decides why and how personal data is processed. You can reach us at contact@hursit.me.
What we collect
Account: your name, email address, and a password hash or your Google account identifier.
Profile: the preferences you give us, such as language, role, tone and how long to keep audio.
Content: meeting audio, transcripts, summaries, tasks, decisions, notes, series, and the speaker names you assign.
Records: your recording-consent confirmations, usage counters (minutes, notes, assistant messages) and basic security logs such as IP address and browser type.
Recording and consent
Minutly is a tool; you decide who is recorded. Before every meeting recording you confirm that you have told the participants, and we store that confirmation with the meeting. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to record, which in many places means everyone’s consent.
Quick notes you type or dictate for yourself do not ask for this confirmation.
How we use it
Only to run Minutly for you: transcribe and summarise meetings, propose tasks, link follow-ups, answer your questions and enforce usage limits. We do not sell personal data, show ads or build advertising profiles.
AI processing
To transcribe and summarise, audio parts and text are sent to an AI model. By default this goes through our own gateway to a Google Gemini model. If you add your own key, it goes to the provider you chose instead. These providers process the data for us under their own terms. We do not use your content to train any model.
Search over your meetings uses an embedding model that runs on our server.
How long we keep it
Audio: 7 days by default. You can choose 1, 7 or 30 days for each meeting, or keep it until you delete it. We remind you one day before deletion. Once deleted, audio cannot be recovered.
Transcripts, summaries, tasks and notes stay until you delete them or your account. When you delete your account in Settings, we delete your content right away; it also leaves our encrypted backups as they rotate.
Security
Audio is encrypted on disk and all traffic uses TLS. AI keys you add are stored encrypted and only the last four characters are ever shown. Access to the production server is limited to the operator.
Transcripts and notes are stored in our database so that search and the assistant can work. They are not end-to-end encrypted.
Who else sees data
Our server hosting, the AI providers described above, our mail server for account emails, and Google if you choose to sign in with Google. Nobody else, unless the law requires us to disclose it.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and GDPR Articles 15 to 22 you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, export or object to the processing of your data, and withdraw consent at any time.
Delete your account and all data yourself in Settings. For a copy of your data, email contact@hursit.me and we will send an export. A self-service export is being built.
You may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or to your national data protection authority in the EU.
Cookies
We use a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie so that sign-in works, and remember your language. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, and these public pages load no third-party scripts or fonts.
Children
Minutly is not meant for people under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell signed-in users in the app. The date above shows the latest version.
